Journey through the distinct cosmos and explore new worlds, alien suns, and asteroid fields!
Included in this set are fully rigged multipart planets, a sun, and a solar system backdrop. Since the planets and sun are models rather than backdrops, this gives you the flexiblity to create more complex lighting for your interstellar renders. Choose to hide or show the cloud layers, the atmospheres, the rings, or the glowing auras to create whatever look you want.
Also included are a variety of material presets for different types of suns, ranging from red dwarfs to blue dwarfs, and entire solar system's worth of planet options. Quickly put together a scene with a frozen ice world or blistering volcanic world and many stops inbetween. From an untouched frontier world to a overpopulated ecumenopolis, these options have been named after distant real “Earth like” planets.
Asteroids galore round out your options, with many different configurations ready to be placed into your scenes. Or add moons to your worlds, intact or shattered. Finally a nebula backdrop gives you a nice splash of colour in the inky blackness of the stellar void.
To better simulate the vast distances of outer space, these are large oversized props. Remember that Daz Studio allows you to easily focus cameras on distant or large objects with the “Center Object” button. You can also use the W-A-S-D keys to more quickly navigate a scene (by default, toggle this on or off using SHIFT + K). For your convenience, scaling presets are included to shrink the models to make navigation and placement easier.
A full set of Iray material presets are included. This set contains only Iray material presets, but the material textures themselves are usable in 3Delight if you wish to manually configure them.
