Delve into the depths of an asteroid, rocky exoplanet, or into good old Terra Firma with this expansive set of modular mining tunnels. With over 60 figures and props, the variety is nearly endless. Each of the modular tunnel pieces are multipart figures, allowing you to hide walls and ceilings to get the perfect camera angle. Included are several straight tunnel variations, a curve, a t-intersection and a quad intersection, and a deadend. Tunnel patches and mounds give you the flexiblity to configure the tunnels in unusual ways while still looking natural. Walkways, handrails, girders, metal walls, fans with spinning blades, and stairs all give your scifi troopers plenty of interesting options to stand off against hordes of aliens or demon-infested Martians.
Since tunnels can be quite dark, this set has a ambient light globe prop with different emissive presets so that you can place light exactly where you want it and achieve just the effect you're looking for.
And if your goals aren't to dig out the interior of a distant world, the tunnel pieces also work wonderfully for fantasy dungeon levels, dragon lairs, or the entrance to demonic underworlds.
Also includes a full scene with several tunnels, props, and lights preconfigured with three camera locations for easy ready-to-go renders.
A full set of Iray material presets are included. This set only includes Iray material presets, as well as a custom multilayered Iray only shader for the tunnel ground, but the textures themselves are fully usable in 3Delight if you wish to manually configure them.
