Full name, Shonisaurus sikanniensis, was named after the Shoshone Mountains, where the first Shonisaurus fossils were found. With a length of 21-23 meters(70 feet), it's the largest Ichthyosaur ever found. It lived during the late Triassic period and was found in British Columbia with a diet consisting mainly of fish and cephalopods
