This add-on set for LIFE Android 2.0 Male and Geoshell for Genesis 8 and 8.1 Male creates a translucent shell for the Android body parts and adds glowing circuits underneath the skin for both figures. There are several color options for the Android/Genesis 8 and 8.1 Male geoshell plus a utility that changes the translucency of Genesis 8 Male in order for the circuit colors to glow through the skin without a saturated red tint. These surface adjustments are for Iray Uber and PBR skin.

Displacement has been adjusted so that glowing parts of the geoshell circuit boards breach the skin of Genesis. The Android shell body parts and circuits have material tags, so you can easily select all similar surfaces to make adjustments beyond the presets.

• Hierarchical materials for the Android 2.0 Male will adjust the whole body including geoshells. If you want to make adjustments to only the geoshells select the torso or a limb body shell which will show it in the scene pane, lock it and then unlock the geoshell underneath. Then with the surface selector tool right/control click on the geoshell and select all with the same tag (All Objects/Circuits). This will select all of the geoshells and from there you can adjust colors, brightness, opacity, etc.

• Tip: Since the Android shells are translucent it looks really dramatic when lit from behind.

• The geometry shells for Genesis Male 8,8.1 also have a surface tag. Lock the Genesis male figure, unlock the geoshell, and then select only surfaces with circuits only by using the surface selecting tool. From there you can adjust colors, brightness, opacity, etc.
