Have you ever wanted to make your Daz Studio characters come to life, talking with you in real-time? With D-Talks software, you can do not only that but also use the embedded Speech Recognition system that understands what you say.

D-Talks also comes with a realistic female text-to-speech voice to speak aloud its responses. Finally, your beautiful characters will understand what you say and use the included artificial intelligence to talk back to you. Your characters will have excellent real-time lipsyncing while talking.

No internet access is required! Everything happens locally on your computer.

D-Talks also comes with the Avatar Editor module, which allows you to create your own D-Talks compatible character. Here in our store at Daz 3D, you can find many additional free and paid avatars to use with D-Talks, as well as extra text-to-speech voices to fit your preferences.

D-Talks also works with any SAPI5 TTS voice you may have already installed on your computer.

D-Talks offers easy-to-use and powerful tools to create intelligent desktop chatbots and AI-driven natural conversational human-machine interfaces with incredible realistic talking avatars.

Below is a list of the installation package types provided by this product. The name of each package contains a Package Qualifier, which is used as a key to indicate something about the contents of that package.

Not all installation packages provide files that are displayed to the user within the interface of an application. The packages listed below, do. The application(s), and the location(s) within each application, are shown below.

• You can find new icons for loading this product in the following DAZ Studio Folders:
  • “People:Gensis 8 Female:Poses:Dtalks”
  • “People:Gensis 8 Male:Poses:Dtalks”

• You can find new icons for this product in the following DAZ Studio Categories:

• Installation and Troubleshooting
  • After your purchase, you will have access to the installation file DTalkInstall.zip. Use the free Winzip or Unrar applications to unpack this file on your computer.
  • Right-click on the file DTalkInstall.exe and choose to “Run as Administrator”. If you receive a blue Windows message, just ignore it by clicking on the “More Info” link allowing D-Talks to run. D-Talks is 100% free of viruses, malware, or any other threat.

• – IMPORTANT –

• Note: Reinstalling D-Talks.
  • If for some reason you need to reinstall DTalks, you only need to completely delete the folder \DTalks. When running the installation file, you may get a warning that the installer detected a previous installation and asks if you want to update it. Please ignore this message and click no to continue the installation.

• Note: I forgot my username or password.
  • If after a new instalation or any other reason you cannot login to D-Talks because you forgot your username or password, please close D-Talks, open the folder \DTalks\database and double click the file “reset.bat”. Run D-Talks! and chose your user name and password again.

• Note: When I chose a different Avatar in the Setting option, the avatar does not show up
  • If after changing the Avatar, it does not shows up on your screen, go the the chat box and type “SHOW”

• Important Note: Before installing D-Talks, please disable any Anti-Virus and Firewall software, like Norton, AVG, McAfee, or Kaspersky.
• NextOS.ai assures you that no Virus, Spyware, Malware, or any other intrusive files will be installed on your computer. The firewall and anti-virus process is required by the Speech Recognition installation engine. You can turn both firewall and antivirus on again after D-Talks’ installation is complete.

• Just after you purchase a D-Talks license at the DAZ3D Store, you will get access to the Installation file called DTalksInstall.exe. Run this application to download all files necessary for her full installation.

• Important Note:
  • To start the installation, right-click on the DTalksInstall.exe file and choose “Run as Administrator”. This will open a window asking for your e-mail address. Please fill in any valid e-mail address. Your email address will not be shared to anyone. We will only use it to send you updates and relevant information. Also, it is recommended that you close other applications that may be running, like web browsers or text editors. Also, check if you have at least 8 GB free on your installation hard drive.

  • We’ll do our best to answer you as fast as possible.

• These are the most common issues some user’s reported when installing or running D-Talks:

• I can’t install D-Talks, or the installation system does not complete.
  • This is probably due to a firewall or anti-virus. Because the installation file is a .exe file, both Windows and anti-virus may understand it a treat. Please disable your anti-virus and firewall before installing D-Talks. Right-click on the install file to avoid installation problems and choose “Run as Administrator”
• If at some point you note that the progress bar has stopped, you may need to cancel and start again by changing the options from the installation window referring to the installation of the C++ Redistributable package. For instance, you may already have the C++ installed on your system. Try unchecking this option as well as the suboption “Quiet Mote”. It may also be necessary to uncheck the “Install Microsoft MSXML” to make the installation complete successfully.

• I could install D-Talks, but it's not opening.
  • Before installing D-Talks, make sure you have both Windows Media Player and Windows Internet Explorer, or Microsoft Edge installed on your computer.

• I cannot make the Speech Recognition work, or I cannot train my voice.
  • If you had a previous installation of D-Talks on your computer, you need to remove the Speech Recognition system. To do so, open folder \modules\dictation\install and run the file “dragonremover.exe” and reboot your computer before installing D-Talks.

• When trying to run D-Talks, I receive a message that it could not find my registered e-mail or a need for a license reset.
  • This usually happens when Windows does an update, or your anti-virus blocked D-Talks from running. To request a license reset, please send a support request email at support@denise.ai
