Petrification for Genesis 9 consists of a set of geoshells, textures, and LIE transition masks to turn any Genesis 9 character to stone. Matching hair and prop/cloth shaders are included as well! By using geoshells in combination with LIE transition masks, you can show a character in the process of being turned into stone using a non-destructive workflow.
This is perfect not only for showing a character who may have fallen victim to Medusa, but also someone whos been cursed or hit with an earth magician magic spell as well. To that end, an optional geoshell wearable with matching LIE presets had been included to showcase the skin being hurt underneath the stone! Of course, you can ignore the geoshells and LIE transitions altogether and simply use the materials and shaders to create statues to populate your scenes. The sky is the limit!
Petrification for Genesis 9 consists of 4 main stone looks: new, cracked, aged, and ancient. These looks are not only designed to cover a variety of looks but also to show the passage of time for storytelling purposes. The pack includes: 3 geoshell wearable presets (body stone, raw skin, and eye stone), 15 material presets (4 body stone presets, 4 eye stone presets, 4 mouth stone presets, 3 raw skin presets), 24 LIE mask presets (12 for body stone and 12 for raw skin), and 24 utility presets (that range from controlling the normal/displacement strength to the visibility and look of the geoshells).
As previously mentioned, we also included a set of 12 shaders to apply matching stone textures to cloth, props, scalp, and even hair. Keep in mind that theres a limit to what the hair shaders can do. As such, some hair/beards might yield better results than others, as its mostly dependent on the model itself. Six utility presets are included to work with the prop shaders (not the hair shaders!). The scalp shaders are the same as the hair shaders with the exception that they wont get rid of the opacity masks, so feel free to apply them to hair/beard/eyebrows for different results!
Plenty of TIPs with instructions and information have been included to help you navigate the product.
