Product Information

With SY dForce Roman Clothing Collection for Genesis 9, your characters can dress in the elegant draped clothing of ancient Rome!

Balancing flexibility and accuracy, these pieces fit into all kinds of historical and fantasy scenes, and with realistic dForce draping they will look different every time you use them.

This set contains a Roman chiton, a dress fastened at the shoulders; a short tunic; a pallium for men/palla for women, a wrap that hangs over one arm; a toga, which was worn by men of various eras, by respectable ladies early in the history of the Roman empire, and by ladies of ill repute later; and a more fantasy-like bra and loincloth with matching textures and trims.

Tints intended to match the dyes available at the time are included, and a border in black and metallic gold (gold decors were worn by the aristocracy).

There are also equestrian and senatorial stripes, included for the look although they were generally restricted to men.

Additional Details

  • All items in the set are rigged, but the pallium and toga are not intended for use without dForce simulation.
  • If you have explosions on layering garments and sitting, make sure you use the enclosed sim settings or Timeline Play Range, but I also recommend that you remove the seat and replace it with a primitive cube or cylinder during simulation (then hide/remove the primitive and replace it with the seat afterward).
  • It can also help to hide the pallium or toga, simulate the garment beneath with Memorized Pose off, and hit Freeze Simulation in the Parameters tab. Then simulate the pallium or toga using the included settings.
