Image Property

An Image Property provides the ability to select an image from a provided list.

Image properties typically display the Default Anatomy features as well as features specific to the the Image property, namely the option to solely select an image.

The Header of an Image property displays the label of the property as well as icons that provide options for customizing how the property functions.

The Body of an Image property displays a drop-down arrow that, when clicked, displays a drop-down Image menu with image options. This menu lists available images in various image formats—including .hdr, .jpg, .tif, etc.—and the ability to browse to an image file, as well as the option to select no image, to edit an image.

Once an image is selected from the menu, the text changes in the body of the property to reflect the selection. The text is set to display “None” by default.

The Image property provides access to the Image Menu. This menu displays the following options:

• Browse… - opens a new dialog to browse to and select an image from outside the application
• None - designates that no image is applied

• Image Editor… - opens another dialog to modify attributes of the image
• Layered Image Editor… - opens a LIE dialog to modify an image comprised of layers

• Image Name - short name of the file; the base name and the extension
