This action causes the current layout to be saved, using the available options to control what and how.

Executing this action will cause a dialog titled Save Layout As to be displayed. This dialog provides an empty text field for you to specify the Name of your custom layout and also allows you to choose which set of Actions, Menus and Toolbars to use for the layout. The value for all three choices is set to the current state, or Custom, by default.

The meaning of the available choices are as follows:

• Custom : The current state of the Actions, Menus or Toolbars, as defined using the dialog provided by the Customize... action, will be saved to its own respective file bearing the name specified for the layout. The files themselves are stored within the AppData user layouts storage path, in a sub-folder named according to the type of data being stored (e.g. actions, menus, toolbars). When this option is chosen during the save of a layout, any changes or improvments that are made to the default Actions, Menus or Toolbars respectively, that were available at the time of the save will not be reflected when applying any layout that used this option during the save.
• Default Simple : The default set of Actions and/or Menus that are used by the full_service layout are used, regardless of any customizations that have been made. When this option is chosen during the save of a layout, any changes or improvments that are made to the default simple Actions or Menus respectively, will be reflected when applying any layout that used this option during the save.
• Default Advanced : The default set of Actions and/or Menus that are used by the Hollywood Blvd, self_serve and city_limits layouts are used, regardless of any customizations that have been made. When this option is chosen during the save of a layout, any changes or improvments that are made to the default advanced Actions or Menus respectively, will be reflected when applying any layout that used this option during the save.
• Any other choice : When any named option other than those described above is chosen during the save of a layout, the Actions, Menus or Toolbars respectively corresponding with that choice are used and any changes or improvments that are made to those named items will be reflected when applying any layout that used the option during the save.
