Translate Tool
Click here to activate the Translate Tool in the viewport.
This tool provides you with a 3D manipulator gizmo in the viewport, at the origin of the primary selection, that can be used to translate a node along it's local axes. Also, between each of the axes are planes that allow you to freely translate the primary selected node on the two adjacent axes (XY, YZ, ZX). Finally, at the origin of the gizmo is a white cube that allows you to freely translate the primary selected node in the plane of the view.
