Compatible

Compatible refers to when one Asset is designed to work with another asset, or an object in the scene. For instance, a product named “Epic Wings” was designed to be versatile enough to be added to almost any figure, thus it is said to be “compatible” with many figures. On the other hand, there are Material(s) Preset that are made specifically for changing the feather colors for “Epic Wings” and nothing else, and it therefore said to have limited compatibility.

Compatibility between assets, or between an asset and an object in the scene, is established through the use of Metadata—namely a Compatibility Base.
