MMX VDB Smoke FX 01 gives you 60 VDB volumes to create large and small-scale atmospheric effects for your Daz Studio scene, such as smoke, mist, fog, and haze. The VDB volumes are separated into 10 sets, each representing a sequence of movement, offering a variety of appearance and density. Each VDB Smoke FX volume is a scene subset and when it is loaded into the scene, it will not be visible in the default viewport. You will see a blue cube primitive in your scene. When rendered in Iray, the VDB Smoke FX volume will be visible and the cube will not be. Due to the sheer size of the VDB volumes in this set, the default density for each volume is set to 1. The 56 density presets included in the set offer small incremental changes instead of large whole numbers. The border sizes listed in the promos indicate the size of the environment they were made in and not their size in your Daz Studio scene. For the VDB volumes that reach their border, some volumes are cut off at the border and some are contained by the border. The density and 20 color presets are shader presets and are compatible with other VDB sets.
