Introducing a new figure for use in freshwater rivers, streams, and lakes: GCJ Crayfish.
Based on a high accuracy scan of a Signal Crayfish (Pacifiastacus leniusculpus) this feisty character comes with fully rigged antenna, tail, and legs/claws.
The majority of these critters are between 2.5 and 3.5 inches long and are the perfect dinner guest for a Crawfish broil.
But you can always scale them up to more impressive dimensions.
Different names exist around the world for this and other related species.
Variously known as Crayfish, Crawfish, Crawdads, Mudbugs, Koura (Kia Ora Kiwis), or even Yabbies (G'day Aussies!) Freshwater Crayfish have been eaten for centuries, and likely were a prized delicacy for many millenia before recorded history.
To my knowledge, crayfish have never been observed scaling tall buildings and snatching aircraft out of the air. But you never know!
This figure comes with two material options for the crayfish: live and cooked.
There are 6 poses for easy setup, and there are properties that control the overall tail shape, antenna position/straightness, and the positions of the pleopods (little swimming appendages found underneath the tail).
There is also a small wicker crayfish pot, bait cage, rope and buoy (either deployed or coiled up), rocks for pot ballast, and a scanned driftwood stick to make your underwater scenes pop. Invite GCJ Crayfish to your runtime for a Crawfish broil today!
