There are a vast array of knives in the real world, each with their own histories and traditions. In this set, FeralFey presents the tactical version of the kukri knife. The kukri is a short sword with a broad downturned blade employed by the Gurkha warriors. This modern adapted “tactical” kukri is used both as a weapon and as a tool and is well suited for bushcraft and hunting.

In addition to the tactical kukri, there is provided a “rigged” blood trail that is smart parented to the kukri. Both the kukri and the blood trail come in six different textures to cover a wide variety of situations and genres. The default texture, the Bushcraft, and the Relic Hunter textures are meant for more realistic renders, while the Electric Blue, the Electricity Hot, Diablo's Spur, and the Jungle Fang textures are meant for your fantasy, adventure, and sci-fi renders. There are also presets to turn off and on the “Maker's Mark” found on the blade between the Gaudi (rocasso) and the Khari/Cho. (Yes, the material zones are labeled in accordance to the real life counterparts.) The blood trail's textures compliment the kukri blade's textures, but you are certainly encouraged to mix and match - the default “blood” texture; the “EEWWW” (which, depending on your lighting, can look like pizza sauce or some unholy iccor); the EEEWWW IT GLOWS (has glowy bits in it); the Oil Spill; Alien Spider Eggs (sounds as creepy as you'd think); Slime (which has both a regular and an emissive option for those toxic slime moments); Golden Goo (which looks like molten gold, but can be used as alien blood, liquid amber, or maple syrup); Liquid Amber (a lit version of the Golden Goo); and Cybernetic Fluid (for the avid Android hunters out there and it also includes an emissive option.) Plus there are bonus presets to turn off or on the modeled “Maker's Mark” mesh on the Kukri.

But wait! Not only do you get the crafted-to-perfection Tactical Kukri prop, the rigged Blood Trail prop, you'll also find 8 single stance poses for Genesis 9, with their mirror'd counterparts and 3 two-person battle poses with their mirror'd counterparts. That's 28 poses altogether. Plus a collection of expression poses to make the most out of these poses. (The poses were designed for Genesis 9's base shape, but with some slight tweaking they will work with any shape or character.)

AND also included as a bonus - of Filatoon presets for the Tactical Kukri and Blood Trail are included for all the texture presets to help with your shader cell comic book renders!!
