While working on the renders for my last jewelry set, I found that many HDRIs offered nice lighting but often lacked the reflective detail I needed to make my jewelry shine, and besides that, I missed the ability to customize the lighting. So I set myself the task to create a lighting setup that would fix this problem.

By combining spotlights and HDRIs, this set offers you the best of both worlds: The spotlights give you full control over your lighting, and the HDRIs provide beautiful reflective detail without overpowering your scene.

This pack includes five essential portrait lighting presets: Back Lighting, Split Lighting, Loop Lighting, Rembrandt Lighting, and Paramount Lighting.

The spotlights are grouped together, so you can move and rotate the group as needed, and the complete light setup will move with it. That makes setting up the lights fast and easy because there is no need to reposition each light separately.

The HDRIs provide ambient lighting, create a pleasant background, and add interesting reflections on metallic surfaces.

The wide range of color and style variations ensures that you will find a background that fits your scene. The set also includes four dozen tint presets, which you can use to tweak the color and mood of the HDRIs.

In addition, you get a set of utility presets that make working with HDRIs quick and easy.

The HDRIs can be used with any light source(s) that work in the Iray Dome and Scene render mode, and the spotlight presets can be combined with any other light set and/or HDRI

And of course, you can use these lights for more than just portraits. They also work great for still life scenes and all sorts of detail renders.
