If you have ever created that perfect woodland scene, but everything looks just a little bit too perfect, these dead tree trunks, stumps and fallen log models will add that element of realism and mystique that you are looking for!
With lots of material pre-set options from bleached white wood to mossy knotty bark and all shades and stages of decay from freshly cut to old and rotten, in lots of different lengths and girths this bundle takes care of all your deceased arboreal needs.
There are even some huge hollow logs (big enough to hide a body…or critter)!
These are detailed models of tree trunks and stumps but will work as subjects for instancing as long as you dont go crazy with them.
Small variations in the y rotation and scale values can make one model and its instances look like many.
The stumps and trunks all load with a portion of their roots or body below the ground plane, giving them the look of something that has been in location long enough to be partially buried.
You can, of course adjust angles so that they lean against their neighbours, stack them up and generally make a mess with them in the best possible way!
Add to this the sister product - Deadwood Fungi and Fern Scatters, and you can instantly add whole ecosystems of tiny ferns, mushrooms and bracket fungi with just a few clicks!
Check it out, or buy both as part of the Deadwood Tree Trunks, Ferns and Fungi Bundle!
