The Nestor is a highly intelligent and enigmatic species known for its advanced societal structure and exceptional diplomatic skills. Among their own kind, the exchange of reproductive fluids and eggs is used as a form of greeting. This is done by joining one of their two front legs, which is specialised in each Nestor. There is nothing prurient about this activity, and they are confused by other species’ treating reproduction as a taboo, private subject. As a result, one should never, ever shake hands with a Nestor.
