LI The Magic Rug is a large modular construction, prop, and shader surfacing system built around making an asset’s UVs as seamless as possible, so materials can be shared and used across the entire product line. The system is designed to let you mix, match, retexture, and expand using a foundational library of assets, textures, and preset functions that all work together.
Along the way, a few offshoot creations branched away from the main process and needed their own development.
The LI The Magic Rug X - Grounds Columns 01 is another one of those offshoots.
The LI TMR X - Column Ground HP - Base Ver 1 is a moderately dense mesh that comes with a range of styling morphs and seamless textures, along with a set of material presets to help you create your own ground planes and more, such as the water puddle scene subset provided, which also works well as a blood pool. It includes a scattered rock layer that is fitted to auto-follow the mesh morphs.
The LI TMR X - Column Ground HP - Sandy Ver 1 is a moderately dense mesh crafted specifically so that the 8K (8192×8192) maps align with the mesh design. Its textures are seamless, and like all textures within the LI The Magic Rug range, tiling is encouraged to produce the desired look. This asset has no morphs and was tailored for a specific aesthetic.
It also includes three different scattered pebble and rock layers that align with the terrain base shape, each with a morph that lowers them to a flat floor plane so they can be used elsewhere as fillers.
NOTE:
Across the whole product range, the primary surface name on each asset is: LI The Magic Rug - Metal. There are some exceptions, and this is one of them.
The primary material names are:
LI The Magic Rug - Ground
LI The Magic Rug - Rock
