It is quite common in areas with older buildings to come across the faded remains of signage and murals painted in previous eras. These ghostly images on brickwork, walls, and fences can make your scenes feel even more authentic.
Simply add a decal to the object you want it to appear on, adjust the scale and position, then select the desired amount of fading using the included transparency material presets.
The material presets are designed to mimic aged paint, with roughness, glossiness, and bump settings already configured. You can also add your own images to the Base Color and Diffuse Roughness channels in the Surfaces tab, allowing Daz Studio to project the decal naturally across displacement and surface contours.
All 13 decal materials are supported by their own decal objects, allowing you to load different designs with a single click.
Perfect for use alongside other decal sets such as graffiti and weathering collections.
Because the set uses the Daz Studio decal system, decals can be moved freely and layered as needed. The stacking order can be controlled through the Parameters > Decal > Priority setting.
Simply parent a decal to the object you want to project onto. For vertical surfaces, ensure the decal bounding box passes through the surface. Rotate the decal to match the surface angle, then adjust positioning as needed.
The set includes 13 decals in a variety of sizes and designs, ranging from giant murals and vintage advertisements to faded paint effects that add realism without referencing real-world brands.
Whether used as old advertising, weathered business signage, or subtle paint remnants to break up large surfaces, these decals instantly add atmosphere, realism, and visual interest to your scenes.
