dForce Nyx Dress: Simulation Guidelines The Nyx Dress is dForce-enabled and professionally optimized to perform well in both conforming and dynamic simulations.
Included Simulation Preset Included is a dForce Simulation Preset for the Nyx Dress. It is recommended to use this preset whenever you wish to clear previous simulation settings and apply optimized values for the outfit.
Recommended Setup for dForce To achieve optimal results and the fastest simulation speeds:
Scene Preparation Load Genesis 9. Fit the Nyx Dress to Genesis 9. Apply your desired material preset. Timeline Setup (if using an Animated Simulation) Frame 0: Genesis 9 in default T-Pose. Frame 30 or 60: Apply your desired pose. Simulation Settings Start Bones From Memorized Pose: OFF Collision Mesh Resolution: Base (highly recommended for faster simulation) Subframes: 4 (optimized for the Nyx Dress) Execution Apply the included Nyx Dress dForce Simulation Preset. Click Simulate. Mesh Smoothing & Utilities Default Smoothing OFF (recommended during simulation to maximize performance and reduce simulation times) Post-Simulation Smoothing A smoothing utility can be applied after the simulation has completed to help resolve minor poke-through and provide a clean, polished appearance for your final render.
Additional Notes
The Nyx Dress includes several adjustment morphs to help accommodate a wide range of body shapes and poses.
For best results, simulate before adding extreme poses whenever possible.
Using Base Resolution for collision detection will significantly improve simulation speed while maintaining excellent results.
